Presenter Sinead Desmond won't be returning to TV3's Ireland AM, the station has confirmed.
Sinead has not been seen on the morning show for the past two months, and according to reports, her decision came down to a pay row with claims that co-presenters Mark Cagney and Alan Hughes were on a higher salary.
In a statement TV3 said, "Sinéad Desmond has decided to leave Ireland AM after 11 years working on the show.
"We would like to thank Sinéad and wish her well for the future."
No reason was given for her departure while Sinead has also yet to comment on why she is leaving, but she did thank people for their support on Twitter.
Thank you so much for all of the support today, it means a lot, I really appreciate it 😘ðŸ'ª
