Sharon Corr revealed yesterday that she won't be returning to RTE's The Voice citing music commitments as the reason for the singers departure from the show.

Corr made the announcement via her own website, 'All good things come to an end, I have absolutely loved being a coach on The Voice of Ireland. What an amazing show!' Sharon was a judge on the TV show for the first two series. 'The first two seasons were quite the roller coaster ride – we took it from concept stage to the number one television program in the country and I could not be more proud,' she added.

A new album and tour are the reasons for Corr's departure from the show. The singer is currently touring and will be playing in Germany, Brazil and Indonesia over the next few months. She went onto say,'I am very excited to be releasing my new album The Same Sun, there are a lot of promotional activities scheduled and I am embarking on a world tour very soon, so unfortunately, I cannot be with you all this season – I wish everyone involved good luck and I look forward to seeing you all again in the future. P.S. I will most sincerely miss kicking Kian Egans ass! And nodding off to Bressie's soliloquies – Ha!'

So who will replace her? With Jamelia also not returning to the show, it's anyone guess as to who will sit in the judges seat this year. Bressie and Kian Egan have also yet to sign up for the next series of the show. Who would you like to see in the judges seat?
