If you've got some secrets scripts for your super popular TV soap, the last place you want to leave them is out lying in the middle of the street. But somehow that’s exactly what happened to a bunch of Coronation Street scripts recently.

This morning a walker (who wishes to remain anonymous) stumbled across the papers outside ITV’s studios in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester only to discover that they contained the plot for three major episodes due to be aired next week.

Talking to The Sun he said: "I'm a big fan and flicked through them to see if anything massive was about to happen in Weatherfield. I know they’re not military documents, but you’d think they might take better care of their plots.

"Anyone could have tweeted what was going to happen in Corrie. It would have spoiled it for millions of fans".

That’s pret-ty embarrassing for Corrie, especially considering that it’s the second script-related mishap in the last 24 hours. Michelle Keegan (Tina McIntyre in the show) tweeted a pic of her and co-star Jack P Shepherd, not realising that there were two scrips in the shot. Despite deleting the image, some fans claimed to have been able to make out some of the dialogue.
