Last night's 'Comic Relief' on RTÉ One featured at least two crossovers, one of them being 'Normal People and 'Fleabag', with the other being 'Derry Girls' and Saoirse Ronan.
The sketch sees the main cast of 'Derry Girls' attempting to figure out what kind of sketch they're going to pitch to Saoirse Ronan, who's agreed to take part after Saoirse-Monica Jackson e-mailed her many, many times.
Naturally enough, the sketch sees everyone pitching different (read: terrible) ideas for the sketch, one of which includes Nicola Coughlan suggesting a script that's actually just an episode of 'The Wire', while Jamie-Lee O'Donnell suggesting something with Paul Mescal, the Hot Priest from 'Fleabag' or Jamie Dornan going topless.
All in all, it's a pretty great sketch and definitely better than that Aer Lingus sketch Sairse Ronan did on 'SNL'.
Take a look. You can donate to RTÉ Does Comic Relief here as well.
