After 14 years, Ryan Tubridy will take his final bow on The Late Late Show this Friday - and there's no doubt the presenter has a big line-up in store for viewers.
Tubs has announced his first guest for the evening, who will be none other than Irish President Michael D. Higgins.
"On Thursday, I'm going to Áras an Uachtaráin to meet President Higgins who's very kindly invited us up to do our final interview together," he said. "I think some people in his office or even he was saying our 14 years have been pretty much paralleled - obviously his in a much more important, lofty way and me in my own small way in TV Land!
"He's always been very generous with his time, and I appreciate the invitation."
Further details on the final show have yet to emerge, but no doubt there's be some big names in the mix before Ryan hands over the reins to incoming host Patrick Kielty.
Whether he'll be gifted a Harley Davidson by U2 - as Gay Byrne was on his final show - is another matter, however.
Higgins, meanwhile, is no stranger to TV talk shows, having previously appeared on 'The Tommy Tiernan Show'.
The final Late Late Show of the season will take place on Friday at 9.35pm on RTE One.
