We're happily enjoying relatively mild weather for the month of December in most parts of Ireland, unless of course, you are in Galway or Clare, which appears to be experiencing some sort of strange microclimate, according to RTE weather.
The post nine o'clock news report last night had that area down for a record-breaking -13 degrees temperature over the next day or two, so unless the effects of global warming are taking a particular toll on the west, we'd assume it was a mistake on RTE's part.
going to be fair cold in Galway tonight. wrap up everyone #-13 #rteweather. pic.twitter.com/9w0wdftHHe
