An RTE sports producer has pleaded guilty at a Leeds court to grooming and trying to incite a girl under 16 to engage in sexual activity.
Kieran Creaven was arrested last month after he travelled to England to meet what he thought was a 13-year-old girl, but was actually set up by a group called Predator Exposure.
55-year-old Creaven has worked for RTÉ for nineteen years and is currently suspended pending the outcome of the case.
Creaven will appear again at Leeds Crown Court in February for sentencing.
