The death of George Michael has seen an outpouring of grief from fans across the world but the one silver lining we all have is that we can try and console ourselves with some of the wonderful stories about the man that have emerged today.
As we mentioned earlier, as well has being musically gifted, Michael also had a cracking sense of humour that he showed off in the first ever Carpool Karaoke sketch.
Now a story has come from Pointless host and former executive producer of Deal Or No Deal, Richard Osman which highlights the generosity of the pop singer. Osman has revealed that a contestant on the Noel Edmonds hosted show was once hoping to raise £15k for IVF treatment.
When she fell short of the amount, Michael, who had apparently been watching at home, stepped up to the plate.
A woman on 'Deal Or No Deal' told us she needed £15k for IVF treatment. George Michael secretly phoned the next day and gave her the £15k.

The fact that we're only hearing about this altruistic act now speaks volumes about his character.
