Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor are looking awfully well for two dead people... Oh. Wait. It's Helena Bonham Carter and Dominic West. Duh.
The BBC has just dropped the first snap from their brand new one-off 90 minute drama about film's most famous and highly volatile couple, and we have to say, Helena and Dom are looking pretty snazzy. We almost didn't recognise her at first, and he looks totally different.
For those of you who don't know, Liz and Dick were married and divorced twice, before being reunited on stage for the 1983 revival of Noel Coward's 'Private Lives'. Their decision to hook up for the play was a bit of a disaster, and that very errr, incident, is what this new BBC drama is all about.
Directed by Richard Laxton (Him & Her), Burton and Taylor will air on BBC Four in the UK and BBC America in the US, though no air date has been set in stone just yet. We don't want to make any bad calls now, but we're betting it'll be at least a tad better than Lindsay Lohan and Grant Bowler's Liz & Dick....
