He played the role of Tim Taylor on US family sitcom Home Improvement for eight years - but Tim Allen says he would be 'very interested' in a reboot of the series.
Allen was speaking to ET when he said he'd be up for taking part in a Roseanne-style update of the show (with characters returning to the present day) which originally ran on ABC from 1991 - 1999 and essentially launched his career as an actor.
When asked if the original cast - including Patricia Richardson and Jonathan Taylor Thomas - would be on board, too, the 64-year-old said: "I can't say everybody, but it has been floated. And more than I would have expected said, 'Yeah, that would be cool to do it years later,' like Roseanne."
Referring to his most recent show Last Man Standing, which was cancelled in 2017, he said: "I still miss Last Man Standing. We didn't get our seventh year. I adored that show. It's like having a new dog and now to go back to the old dog? I don't know. I like both characters, but yeah - I'd be very interested in that idea."
