Just when you thought there couldn't possibly be room for any more Chris O'Dowd on your telly, IT Crowd creator and writer Graham Linehan has announced that he will indeed be back on our screens in the long-anticipated IT Crowd finale.
Linehan was speaking during a Q&A at the German re:publica digitial conference when he spilled the beans, and even revealed that they'll be filming the special in just a few weeks time. Word on the street is that the script has been ready to go for the guts of a year, but the cast have been far too busy to get together and film it.
It's been quite a while since we saw Chris, Richard Ayoade, Katherine Parkinson, and Matt Berry back in their little office, but Bleeding Cool says they'll all be back in action for the brand new 40 minute episode. That's good news for our Chris, who was rather hoping for a bit of "closure" for his character.
And of course, you know what that means: Time to crack out the boxset or Netflix and catch up, quick sharp!
