If you have never watched Summer Heights High, stop reading this, now. Go away, watch it, and then come back to me.
Done? Good. By now you'll be familiar with the wonder that is the Australian Chris Lilley's creation, Ja'mie King. She's a private high school girl from down under, and she's really cool, pretty, popular (not at all modest) and what have you. Since striking a chord with audiences the world over in SHH, Ja'mie's now got her own dedicated show, Private School Girl.
As a (very odd) mark of just how popular this character has now become, Ja'mie's only gone and had her first photoshoot in a lad's magazine. Zoo, to be precise.
Some may find this weird, creepy, questionable, (illegal?) while superfans will think it's fanf*ckingtastic.
Donned in her signature uniform and knee-high socks, complete with sultry, somewhat disturbing facial expressions, (and he/she's wet, right? Yes, wet) Lilley's said to have nailed the 'world exclusive' photoshoot in just 5 minutes.
"I didn't know how it would look to be honest," he explained to news.com.au, "but when I went over and looked at the test shots, I was like 'that is insane'... I got a really good reaction from all the staff at the mens mag too - they were really into it, they could not stop laughing."
"I basically just slipped into the tight-fitting uniform got pre-wet and then sprayed down and oiled up, there was a bit of leg shaving and make-up work before, but I just had to commit to being hot... I somehow knew what poses to do and because Ja'mie believes she's hot, it's easy to fall into the illusion of it... It must have been all that time practicing her selfies", he joked.
Well, we'll surely be keeping an eye out for a copy of that magazine. Maybe.
Private School Girl's set to make waves as episode 1 airs on ABC in Oz today.
