Are you even really a member of the royal family if you don't have a Lifetime movie made about you?
William and Kate got one about their love story, and dammit if it wasn't the complete and utter glorious cheese-fest we hoped it would be. Now it's the turn of Prince Harry and his fiance Meghan Markle to get the Lifetime movie treatment as their story comes to the small screen for the first time, and the actors who will play them have just been revealed.
Taking on the role of Markle will be Parisa Fitz-Henley, who you may have seen previously in Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix, while Prince Harry will be played by Murray Fraser, who starred on the British mini-series The Loch as well as royal series Victoria.
Parisa certainly looks very like Meghan although the jury is still out on how well Murray fits the bill.
The TV movie, called Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story, will begin with the couple's first date, which was set up by a mutual friend, and tells their story up until their engagement.
Yes - we hate ourselves for wanting to watch it too.
Expect something along the lines of this:
Prince William and Kate Middleton's Lifetime movie aired just prior to their April 2011 wedding so we'd imagine we will get to see Harry and Meghan's ahead of their May 19th nuptials.
Not that we'll be watching! OBVS. We don't even care.
