Ed Sheeran is certainly a hot talking point today given his unpopular Game of Thrones cameo, and it seems that's not the only TV show he's going to be making an appearance in this year.
The singer is set to get Simpsonized and Entertainment Weekly have revealed just what exactly that will look like:

We wouldn't say it's the spitting image of him but then he won't be playing himself.
Sheeran will appear in a musical-themed episode of The Simpsons entitled 'Haw-Haw Land' and will play a musician called Brendan who Lisa takes quite a shining too.
Executive producer Al Jean told EW: "He keeps alternating [between], ‘You’re not that great, but you could be fantastic,’ and she keeps falling for him because of his talent."
The show's producers had heard that Sheeran was a huge Simpsons fan, even sporting a tattoo of Blinky the three-eyed fish, and was also interested in appearing on the show.
Jean said: "We had a perfect part for him. So we said, ‘Oh, great, we’ll have him do this!’ And we recorded him over the phone from England."
Let's just hope it goes down better than his stint as a Lannister.
