Former Criminal Minds star, Thomas Gibson has taken to Twitter to speak out following his dismissal from the long running series.
Gibson was initially suspended last week for what was expected to be a 1-2 episode duration following an on set altercation with a writer on the show. However, on Friday, ABC Studios and CBS TV Studios released a statement saying that Gibson had been dismissed from the show.
In the days since. it was reported that Gibson was considering taking legal action and had hired a top law firm to represent him. Now the star has set up a Twitter account to beef up his social media presence as the saga continues.
He used his first few tweets to thank his fans for their support and express his disappointment over his exit from the show.
I wish I could thank each of you for your friendship & support. I love "Criminal Minds," & I'm disappointed by what's happened #ThomasGibson
