There's something really adorable and funny about Barack Obama sharing plane photos on Instagram. It's like watching your dad play with a new phone and discovering emojis.
Yesterday we heard the news that Barack Obama would be joining Bear Grylls as the pair take on the Alaska landscape together in attempt to highlight the affects of climate change on the wilderness there, and he's been documenting his trip through the northern America state on the White House's official Instagram.
Sharing photos that your dad would take and with captions to match, old BamBam has been knocking it out of the park with posts such as the below: 'Hey everyone, it's Barack. Incredible view as we near Anchorage. I'll be spending the next few days touring this beautiful state and meeting with Alaskans about what’s going on in their lives. Looking forward to sharing it with you. -bo'
'-bo' is quite simply the best sign off ever.
His skills had improved by the end of the journey though, with this shot marking the end of his trip.
As for the encounters with wildlife, the only wild animal he managed to find alone the way was this one (and yes, that joke is his not ours).
Obama met up with Bear Grylls while on his Alaskan getaway to presumably take part in Grylls' 'Running Wild' series on American station NBC.
Obama shared this selfie with the caption: 'Glad this was the only Bear I met in the park. -bo'. Dad jokes from the leader of the free world. What more could you ask for.
