Remember Party of Five? It was pretty much the cooler Seventh Heaven and probably the best resource to study pop culture in the nineties.
Airing between 1994 and 200, it starred Neve Campbell, Scott Wolf, Matthew Fox, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Lacey Chabert and made stars of them all, well, for a while anyways.
Now it looks like the show could make a comeback, although don't get too excited, the reboot would be with an entirely new family, and it seems it would have a multicultural twist too. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new version is in the works for Sony Pictures Television Studios by the creators of the original series, Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman.
The reboot would follow a first-generation Latino family who have moved to the US, and track their life as they try to make it in the country.
It's still early days though with no network currently attached to it as Sony has yet to hear their pitch, but we'll keep you posted.
