Either we're all getting punked by the gang or there's some serious communication issues going on on the 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' studio lot because we're getting so many mixed signals it's giving us a headache.

The last update we had on the return/non-return of Glenn Howerton's Dennis to 'It's Always Sunny...' was a line from Kaitlin Olson saying that Howerton was "coming back for some episodes," and that "how he’s being introduced back in... is absolutely hilarious."

Well now Howerton's had his say, posting on Twitter that "some bird has been going around squawking about Dennis being confirmed for season 13" and then going on a short rant about birds.


So what's going on? Well we know Howeton's still involved in the writing but it looks like the team are keeping their cards close to their chest either because they don't know what they're doing with Dennis or because they're stringing us along so that we watch.

Either way, we will.
