A new project for Storyland has seen them release five brand new original online dramas on the RTE Player over five weeks to showcase emerging talent in Ireland. The latest is a drama series called 'Ctrl', a fast-paced thriller set in Dublin that follows a brilliant young computer hacker named Colin and his exploits into the world of online hactivism.
A fitting subject matter really consider the amount of tech companies set up in the capital, and even more so when you see the stories that have been making headlines in recent months. Hackers are an intriguing bunch and this brilliant new four part series gives us more of an insight into how somebody could find themselves wrapped up in it.
It stars Fionn Walton (What Richard Did, Rhinos and Out of Here) as Colin, while Red Rock's Elva Trill plays Iris. This is the third collaboration for award winning duo Matthew Roche (writer) and director Brian Deane, while it was produced by Blacksheep Productions.
