If you were a big fan of Rose Byrne and Glen Close starrer Damages then you're going to be only too delighted to hear that Netflix has just ordered a brand new original drama from the show's creators.

It seems as though Todd A Kessler, Daniel Zelma and Glenn Kessler offered the bosses a pretty fantastic exclusive psychological thriller that the streaming site just could not say no to.

"We were spellbound after hearing Todd, Glenn and Daniel's pitch, and knew Netflix was the perfect home for this suspenseful family drama that is going to have viewers on the edge of their seats," said Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content for Netflix. "Their work on Damages was truly ahead of its time and we're proud to be bringing our viewers this upcoming series."

What's it all about? Well, the official line is that the show's first 13-part season will tell the tale of a group of adult siblings who have a bit of a black sheep in the family, and when the err, prodigal son returns home their secrets and scars will all be revealed. It's all about exploring the wounds and emotional demons that lie at the core of a contemporary American family".

The lads say they are "absolutely thrilled to be creating an original series for Netflix - a company committed to cutting-edge storytelling in a vibrant, new space". And sure if Damages is anything to go by, we're glad they're working with them too.
