Looks like sending celebrities into a jungle in Australia or your typical ice skating competition isn't cutting it any more in TV land, now they need to be fit and limber for gymnastics competitions too. Being a Z-list celebrity must be SERIOUS hard work.
BBC have announced a new show for Saturday nights where some famous faces (we use that term loosely) will show off their best tumbles and cartwheels in a show that will be called eh...'Tumble'.
So far Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding will be taking part, along with Dynasty actress Emma Samm, TV fitness guru Mr Motivator, boxing champion Carl Froch, Ian “H” Watkins from Steps, EastEnders actor John Partridge, Loose Women panellist Andrea McLean and Amelle Berrabah of Sugababes fame.
And yes, Mr Motivator IS the only person we care about on that list too. Legend!
The show is set to tackle a range of disciplines and will be hosted by One Show presenter Alex Jones and will include Olympic gymnast Nadia Comaneci and the London 2012 medallist Louis Smith as the show's judges.
BBC’s commissioning executive Rachel Ashdown, said: "These celebrities are embarking on a gruelling training regime combining aerial and gymnastic skills. They’ll use them all to deliver breath-taking performances that you’d expect from the department that also produces Strictly Come Dancing."
The show is set to air later in the year.
