There's no stopping Netflix these days as they have announced yet another brand new drama coming to their streaming service soon. They have partnered up with Canada's City TV and Shomi to bring a new premium drama series, which will be called 'Between'.
The show will be created by award-winning writer/director Michael McGowan (Still Mine, One Week, Saint Ralph) and will star Jennette McCurdy (iCarly, Sam & Cat). The series is described as "the story of a town under siege from a mysterious disease that has wiped out everybody except those 21 years old and under. The series explores the power vacuum that results when a government has quarantined a 10-mile diameter area and left the inhabitants to fend for themselves."
A load of teenagers in charge of a town so, what could go wrong?
The first season of 'Between' will feature six, one-hour episodes and will premiere on City and Shomi in Canada and on Netflix outside of Canada, although the date of broadcast has yet to be released. We will keep you posted!
