Chris O'Dowd's hugely successful Moone Boy is on its way back for a third season and now we can tell you officially when that will be!
The award winning series is set to return to our screens for six episodes this March 2nd, Sky 1 have announced. Last season saw the likes of Amy Huberman and Bressie making appearances, and this time round they have a few more big names thrown into the mix.
The one and only Sir Terry Wogan is set to join the show for a stint, playing the host of a home video show for which Martin Moone (David Rawle) tries to film a hilarious clip.
As well as that, Sharon Horgan will also be making an appearance in Boyle (main image). She'll even have a fairly similar name too - Sharon Morgan. She plays a high-powered, yoga-loving entrepreneur who used to date Martin’s father Liam (Peter MacDonald). Sharon left Boyle for London many years ago leaving a madly in love Liam behind. Both Debra (Deirdre O’Kane) and Liam get a surprise when they unexpectedly run into her whilst on a 20th wedding anniversary break away. Awkward.... annnnd hilarious.
Bronagh Gallagher of The Commitments fame will also star in this season as Pat O'Dwyer, mother to Martin Moone’s best friend Padraic.
While Johnny Vegas will be returning as Padraic's imaginary friend Crunchie Danger Haystacks, and Simon Delaney is back as Gerry.
Roll on March 2nd!
