It's time to bid farewell to Cam, Mitchell, Phil, Gloria, and the rest of the dysfunctional family as 'Modern Family' has officially filmed its final episode ever.
When it first launched back in 2009, 'Modern Family' became a runaway hit for ABC Network in America. Focussing on the rollercoaster lives of one man's suburban family living in California, as well as his two children's chaotic families, the series became a staple for those of us who love over-the-top comedy.
Part of what made the series so charming, was the comedic timing and on-point physical acting of its main cast. We'll never stop appreciating Phil Dunphey's magic tricks, Cameron Tucker's fondness of a flower shirt cuff, or Gloria Pritchett's inability to stop embracing her Columbian heritage. In short, it was a runaway success that deserved a long run.
Sadly, that 11 season run has come to an end, and filming on the final ever 'Modern Family' episode wrapped on Friday, February 21st. The award-winning show, which is currently airing its final 11th season, has officially wrapped and stars of the show have been sharing memories with their social media followers.
Sofia Vergara, whom the series turned into a household name, has shared plenty of moments from the casts' final day of shooting. The star captioned her videos and pictures with: "What a day!! Saying goodbye to our Modern Family".
She also said: "I will never forget this set, this people ,there where only good times. Thank you Moden Family. Thank you Gloria Pritchett".
