Alas, the end is nigh for those of us who have watched through 10 and a half seasons of 'Modern Family' over the last decade, as the series is sadly coming to an end.
The 'Modern Family' cast reunite for one last time, as the final episode of the hit show waired over in the States. Earlier this year, the 'Modern Family' cast posted emotional pictures and videos online from their final day on set together on location in California.
The eleventh and final season of the comedy series wrapped up last night in ABC in the States, after 244-strong episodes airing since 2009. Sky One will air the final episode of the season over here in the next few weeks.
With the decade-plus run of the unique and hilarious show coming to an end, stars Ed O’Neill, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet all got together for a video chat with late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. With the men sporting various levels of beards and moustaches, the cast talked about what they're getting up to at home, what they really should be getting up to right now, and how they met each other during the casting process of the show.
Towards the end of the interview (around the 10 minute mark), Ty Burrell began talking about how the cast began writing a fictional book called 'How To Work Less', based on Ed O'Neill's working habits while on set.
It's a tonic for today - here's the 'Modern Family' cast reunite on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'.
