It's true! America's First lady is set to make her cameo in the hit US sitcom in the finale episode of the sixth season. Michelle Obama has already filmed the scenes in Miami Florida, however the reason for her appearance is being kept tightly under wraps.
The comedy, which stars Amy Poehler, centres around a group of small town government workers in the Parks and Recreation Department in Indiana. It's filmed in mockumentary style, and in short, is bloody hilarious.
Poehler was a special guest during the week at the celebration for the First Lady's Lets Move! initiative. Amy told the crowd: “We are best friends. I’m coming over to your house. I want you to cook me something to eat…lean meats, whole grains, vegetables, you may have heard”.
We undoubtedly would like to be both these ladies best friends, but I suppose we'll settle on them finding each other.
