It's only a few short months now until the much anticipated season five of Love/Hate graces our screens, and while there has been rumours aplenty as to what to expect from this fifth outing of the show, we do have some solid info on who will be starring alongside Nidge and the lads.

The Herald has revealed the faces of three new stars joining the cast this year, that will be part of a season that director Stuart Carolan has said viewers can expect 'a lot of pay offs' from.

Now meet the newbies!

First up is Johnny Ward, you may know him from playing Vinnie Corcoran in the RTE comedy series The Centre this year, as well as a role in Sean Penn's This Must Be the Place and a brief stint in Fair City back in 2005. He will play a character call Pauley, so we are going to go ahead and guess he is a mate of Nidge's and not the Guards. It's also thought that he will play a significant role in this season.

Next up is Dez McMahon, who will play somebody called Gary on the show. You may recognise him from Game of Thrones where he played a small role as one of the Men of the Night's Watch. For those that know GoT, his character is called Endrew Tarth and he serves as the Master-of-Arms at Castle Black, overseeing the archery training of the new recruits.
There he is now...

According to his IMDB profile, he's also had parts in The Actors and Vikings, had a minor role in Fair City, and eh... played a racist in Glenroe, sure you have to start somewhere.

Finally, there's Liverpool actor Bobby Marno, who we know for certain will play a Garda in the upcoming series. He also appeared in The Fall last years alongside Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan, the lucky divil.
