Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D has got a release date! Channel 4 will be airing the show on the 27th September which is a mere three weeks away. The Avengers spin off follows agent Phil Couson, brought back from the dead, (Clark Gregg) as he brings together a team of government agents to contain a number of super powered forces. Co Exec Jed Whedon said about the new series, They're going to see something very cool, but we also want them to come meet our characters and not just wait to see Iron Man swoop into the screen. And if you were holding out for X Men characters, you can forget it as they won't be making an appearance due to rights issues. However we still think the show looks pretty awesome.
