In another boost for Netflix, actor Michael Sheen has been cast in an upcoming comedy series called Grace and Frankie. The streaming service is certainly not shy of the odd A-lister or two are they? Between himself and Kevin Spacey in House of Cards it seems the new place to be for the bigwig Hollywood actors.
Sheen is set to star alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in a sitcom about two long-time rivals brought together when their husbands go and fall in love with each other on them, and the women suddenly find themselves leaning on one another for support. Sheen is set to play Jane Fonda's husband, Robert.
Sounds like it's got promise, but even more so because they have Friends creator Marta Kaufman on board! The single-camera comedy show is written and created by Kauffman, as well as Howard J. Morris and Paula Weinstein.
Grace and Frankie has been given a 13-episode first series and will air in 2015.
