Speaking of her role on Doctor Who, Zoe Alexander said: "It's great to be working on Doctor Who - the people are a lot nicer than some you get to meet working in TV. I'm loving it but I'm hoping that this is just a start for me."
The BBC were keen to confirm with the likes of Digital Spy that "the 22-year-old is only working on the show in a supporting artist capacity." In other words, she's an extra.
For those of you missing the Doctor after the Ponds' departure, the show will return to BBC One this Christmas for a festive special, with eight more episodes to following in the New Year. Until then, they're currently showing the fifth series of Doctor Who on Watch of a Sunday morning at 9am.
