Love it or loathe it, 'Love Island' is back. And while 11 new Islanders get used to their new sunny lives in the South African villa, viewers at home in the grim January cold were chomping at the bit for it all to get started. And while there were mixed opinions on who the new cast, there was one thing that viewers were united on - Maya Jama.
Yes, the new host of 'Love Island' was the star of the show last night, with a significant amount of tweets, even some from former Islanders, dedicated to her. Jama made her debut having replaced previous host Laura Whitmore, who left the show after the last series.
After previous appearances on 'Love Island: Aftersun', fans were very vocal about Jama being perfect for the role of 'Love Island' host, and by all accounts, last night they got their wish.
