Caroline Flack, the host of 'Love Island', has been charged and arrested with assault in the UK.
Per multiple outlets, several police units were spotted outside Flack's home earlier this morning and her partner, tennis pro Lewis Burton, was taken to hospital. It's understood that Flack and Burton had an altercation, with police called as a result of it.
Police confirmed that Flack was arrested and charged "with assault by beating", but stopped short of naming Burton specifically as the injured party, instead stating that police were called "after reports of a man assaulted."
Flack will appear at a bail hearing at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 23rd with no word yet if she'll still be hosting the winter edition of 'Love Island'. The show is due to commence filming on January 8th, with Flack originally due to fly to South Africa at some stage over Christmas.
