We are not particularly surprised by this choice but delighted about it all the same. Ant and Dec have been announced as the hosts of the 2015 Brit Awards, fourteen years after they last presented the ceremony.
The I'm a Celeb and Britain's Got Talent hosts (and Saturday Night Takeaway too of course) will be taking over from James Corden, who as we know is heading across the pond to host The Craig Ferguson Show, or The James Corden Show as it will inevitably be called.
Brits chairman Max Lousada said it was "a real honour" to have them back; "Ant and Dec are two of the most popular TV broadcasters this country has ever produced. It's great that these two pillars of British TV will be part of a night about celebrating icons in British music."
The lads themselves also tweeted about it;
Very excited to be announced as the hosts of The @BRITAwards 2015. It's good to be back! D https://t.co/KJ8T9PeJWC

They've also said they would be offering advice to those in attendance on "how to have a number one hit... as long as they're prepared to wait 19 years for their records to top the chart like ours did".
Sure they're gas, aren't they?
The 2015 Brit Awards take place on 25 February at the O2 Arena in London.
