We might know him best for wielding a mighty hammer but before Chris Hemsworth became Marvel's take on the Norse god of thunder he was Home and Away heartthrob/teenage tearaway Kim Hyde.
And it seems as though the actor hasn't forgotten his roots either. "I loved Home and Away and I credit everything I do to it," he told Australia's Nova FM this week. "I was 19 when I started working on that show. I had such a great time." And sure didn't we have a great time watching him too?
Radio hosts Fitzy and Wippa weren't going to let Hemsworth stop with the nostalgia there though, surprising him by introducing a mystery caller who had a rather interesting question about his time in Summer Bay. 'Kate' from Campbelltown was rather eager to find out more about his feelings regarding his female co-stars.
"I know these days you get to work with people like Natalie Portman" she began, "but back in your Home and Away days... who was the woman you just adored working with and would swap Natalie Portman with any day?" she asked. "I would have to say Kate Ritchie" Hemsworth replied, instantly recognising his former co-star's voice on the line. "Not only is she the most talented, but the most stunning woman..."
