If you were listening to the wireless within the last hour or so then you may have happened to hear Love/Hate's brothel madame Janet aka Mary Murray on Today FM with Ray D'Arcy. The radio host has an established tradition of carrying out some Love/Hate re-enactments but his latest one really took the biscuit.
After chatting with Murray about her family history with the show (Her brothers were cast as Lizzie's brothers last year) Ray revealed that the pair would be doing a bit of acting after the break, hinting that the script from THAT brothel massage scene was, if you'll pardon the pun, on the table. He did warn Love/Hate fans that his Nidge wasn't the best, before launching into one of the most hilarious things we've heard on the radio for quite a while.
We've got to hand it to Ray - his nervous Nidge was on the money, while Murray cracked out what she describes as her best "Ronnie Drew" to give the scene some serious Love/Hate authenticity. We'd give it a solid 10/10 and we're sure even Fran would agree that this one was coolaboola.
