There's a very special 'Late Late Show' on the way for viewers this week.
Ryan Tubridy will be hosting a unique edition of 'The Late Late Show' St Patrick's Day edition this year, with plenty of great Irish guests joining him in studio. In its 49 years of broadcast, the chat show has never taken place midweek.
Hollywood ace and one of our favourite Irish actors, Brendan Gleeson will be making an appearance on the show. The last time Brendan chatted with Ryan was around this time last year for the Easter show.
There will be plenty of Irish music in store for viewers, with Andrea Corr from The Corrs also dropping in. Paddy Moloney of The Chieftains, traditional Irish band Clannad, as well as members of Stockton's Wing, Edel Fox, Louise Mulcahy and Zoë Conway making appearances too.
Ryan and his team will also have some surprises in store for us on the night. In preparation for its broadcast, the show reached out to the Irish diaspora dotted around the world to get in touch, so expect a number of video interviews and clips featuring a range of people excited to be getting in on the festivities.
'The Late Late Show' St Patrick's Day special will kick off on Wednesday night at 9.30 pm on RTÉ One.
