Oh, we cannot wait for this episode.
Not only is Kristen Wiig returning to 'SNL' to pick up the hosting gig for the Christmas episode, this is also her second time hosting the show in 2020. You might not remember the episode as it dropped around about the time when everything went a bit mad, but the actor hosted the show from her home, still managing to make it a comedic feast.
She's had quite a year during 2020, becoming a mother to twins via surrogacy earlier in the year. And right now, she's busy promoting her appearance in 'Wonder Woman 1984' as Cheetah.
However, Wiig's return to the 'Saturday Night Live' stage will be an early Christmas present, as she is undoubtedly one of the finest comics to ever grace its stage.
During her seven-season run, Kristen Wiig managed to create a number of memorable characters, such as Target Lady, excitable Sue, and of course Gilly the mischievous school kid.
She's also done a number of near-perfect impressions of various showbiz people over the years, including Kris Jenner, Madonna, Björk, Ann-Margaret, and the one and only Liza Minelli (she's still trying to turn off that lamp).
Will any of these be making an appearance over the weekend? Here's hoping.
