*Spoiler alert* - For all those not up to date with season five of Game of Thrones, look away now.
For the rest of you, can we all just go ahead and admit that Jon Snow is returning to season six of Game of Thrones? Yes, we know, we know, he met his untimely demise at the hands of the Watch in the season finale but there has been many a theory put forward that he either somehow survived this, or will be resurrected by Melisandre. We're going for the latter ourselves.
While initially it seemed like wild speculation, the fact that actor Kit Harington has been spotted numerous times in Belfast in recent months has only added fuel to the fire. Especially considering he openly said last year he was a bit sick of the place.
Never mind all that though, Kit Harington was interviewed by a Belgian magazine around the time he was doing publicity for his recent movie Testament of Youth. The interview was translated from Dutch to English by a Reddit user. Here's what he said;
Harington: "The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime—"
Interviewer: "How many more seasons would that be?"
Harington: "Nice try [laughs]. I can't talk about that. Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over."
THIRTIES, folks. You know how old Harington is now? 28. That gives time for plenty more seasons.
Don't know about you, but we are adding this to our ever increasing pile of evidence that Jon Snow lives on. Now if only we didn't have to wait so damn long to find out for certain.
