Keith Lemon aka Avid Merrion aka Lee Francis is a errr, gentleman we're rather familiar with. You'll know him as yer man off Celebrity Juice, or the fella who ripped the piss out of Craig David on Bo Selecta, but now it seems fans of Coronation Street will become better acquainted with him too.
Yep, if reports in today's Sun are to be believed, Keith is due a cameo 'on t'cobbles' of Manchester's most famous soapy street. Rumour has it that Mr Lemon will foll be popping us a delivery driver for Newton and Ridley, the brewery that services the Rovers Return. We suppose he'll be hoping to service a few of the barmaids while he's at it. We could totally see him as England's answer to Georgie Burgess or Pat Mustard. All he needs to do is stand over by the vegetables...
Anyway, there's still no official word from the folks at ITV but, given Lemon's popularity, we certainly wouldn't be surprised to see him appear on the Street. Sure maybe he could return as Fiz and Chesney's long lost uncle, or a new love interest for our Gail. God knows she's had worse...
