It was the end of an era last night on the BBC, as Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May presented Top Gear for the final time. The extended episode featured two unseen video features of the lads that were filmed before that 'fracas' a few months ago which resulted in Clarkson being fired from the BBC.
Clarkson took to Twitter during the show last night, noting BBC News' lack of coverage of the show, along with an apology to fans;
Strange that BBC News is talking down the last Top Gear tonight. Do they not want big ratings for some reason?

Many many thanks for all your support and encouragement over the years. So sad and sorry it's ended like this

Chris Evans is set to become the new host of the show while Clarkson, May and Hammond are said to be in talks with ITV, Netflix and Amazon.
