He'll be tearing up the screen as The Wolverine again from next week, but Hugh Jackman still have time to do a bit of telly, as has actually been ripping a few other things (namely the p*ss out of Jeremy Clarkson) on the small screen while he's waiting.

The Aussie actor took time out to play the part of the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car on Top Gear, and let the world know all about it on his official Twitter account. It seems as though he was rather excited to meet The Stig and give the infamous test lap his best shot.

You'll have to wait until Sunday to see how he got on, but Entertainmentwise reports that he gave Clarkson quite the err, punch, in his interview. Apparently, Jeremy told Hugh he's never be able to flash the flesh on screen because he has a rather small, well, shall we say, gear stick (that works, right?). "You know what I mean, right?" Clarkson said. "No", Jackman jokingly replied, leaving poor old Jeremy hanging.

Between that and the on-screen 'punch' from Benedict Cumberbatch last week, Clarkson ain't exactly having much luck with the Hollywood stars, eh?

Catch Top Gear on BBC Two this Sunday (July 21st) from 8pm.
