Rumours began circulating at the beginning of the week regarding the upcoming 'Friends' reunion and a certain "baby bombshell" that was about to be dropped.
According to representatives for Jennifer Anniston, the actor will not be dropping any "baby bombshell" during the 'Friends' reunion later this year.
TMZ reports that the famed actor, who played Rachel Green in the sitcom for 10 years, will not be revealing some personal news, and previous reports are "false". A quote from a rep told the publication that these rumours are "false and never happened".
The apparently incorrect report from Closer suggested that Jennifer adopted a baby girl from a Mexican orphanage, Casa Hogar Sion. The actor allegedly did so following her continued work with the orphanage throughout the career.
A source had originally said: "Jen felt the reunion was the perfect time to make her baby announcement to the whole gang.
"While the girls already knew – as they see each other regularly – she thought it would be special to tell the boys when they were all together, as she rarely sees them these days due to their busy lives and work commitments."
Jennifer Anniston "baby bombshell" or not, we're still pretty excited to see how this 'Friends' reunion turns out.
Due to air later this year, Jennifer will be joined by her co-stars Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer for the 'Friends' reunion special. The sitcom wrapped up after 10 seasons in 2004.
Iconic sets have been resurrected for the special episode, including the famous water fountain from the series' musical intro, and Monica's New York apartment. Filming was completed recently, and the episode will air on HBO Max very soon. As for where Irish viewers will be able to watch the episode, it'll likely be available for Sky and NOW subscribers around the same date it airs in the States.
