Aw bless his cotton socks. Jamie Dornan has said that he was left feeling a bit emotionally scarred after playing the role of serial killer Paul Spector on The Fall. He is a pretty damn dark character in fairness, although Jamie can take credit for the phrase 'sexy serial killer' being coined.
The actor told The Guardian of his role; "There are maybe not a lot positives. You can't fail to be left lightly scarred by inhabiting someone like that for two seasons."
"I do carry elements of him in a worrying way. I find him relatable and understand why he is how he is."
The Fifty Shades of Grey star went on to say; "There are times towards the end of filming series one and series two where I did scare myself that some of Jamie's reactions were like Paul's. You do carry some of that anger and that hatred in you a little bit, especially towards the end of filming."
Not going to lie, this does disturb us just a tad considering how much Paul Spector scared the bejaysus out of us, but fair play to him for his honesty all the same.
And Jamie can do no wrong, obviously.
Season Two of The Fall premieres in November.
