Back in April 2012 Kiefer Sutherland promised us they'd start production on the 24 movie in about 8 months. Almost 12 months later and we've heard nothing, so we can't say we're surprised to hear it probably won't be made.
Training Day director Antoine Fuqua (we're not sure how you pronounce it without sounding rude either) told The Playlist that he'd met with Kiefer and Fox after he signed up for the project last year, but now can't see it getting off the ground.
"Yeah, that's not happening. I don't think it's gonna happen at all, definitely not with me", he said, adding that the production had been delayed by Sutherland's commitments to TV show, Touch. "I don't think he was able to get a proper agreement with Fox. The time just passed, and I went off to go to what I was doing." Fuqua explained.
Guess it'll be a while longer before we see Jack Bauer again so...
