Did you happen to see the Irish bloke on The Taste last night? Barry Johnston cooked up a storm for the judges on the new cooking series on Channel 4, which included Ms. Nigella Lawson herself.
The 27 year old charity worked wowed the judges with his dish which he described as 'eclectic and generous'. Contestants on the show can only give judges one bite of their dish to get through, but one bite was all it took for Barry, as he emerged as a front runner to take home the win.
The Irish man then had his pick of judges to work with, so naturally he went with Nigella yeah? Nope, poor Nigella was burned in favour of fellow judge Anthony Bourdain. Barry joked that his friends would kill him for not picking Nigella, but that he came on the show to work with Bourdain. No messin' with this fella.
Barry will be returning to our screens in this coming weeks as he battles to the final. Best of luck Baz!
