Live TV just doesn't get any better than this.
The hosts of Ireland AM got more than they bargained for this morning, by spelling out a rather filthy word. And then almost spelling out another one worse than the one before.
This morning, while presenting in studio, hosts Laura Woods and Alan Hughes attempted to play their own version of the classic Countdown game, whereby contestants try and make as many words as possible from the letters shown. Tommy Bowe and Karen Kostner joined in live via webcams from their homes.
Laura starts innocently enough by asking Alan for a consonant, followed by a vowel, followed by another consonant... Which ended up spelling out a certain slang word. Continuing along with the segment, sure why stop there, another consonant was added to the mix.
Here's the moment the debauchery unfolded.

We reckon that "M" was probably upside-down, and was really a "W" - but hey, we wouldn't have the joy of watching this Ireland AM video if that was so.
In other Virgin Media news, the broadcaster has today launched their revamped Virgin Media Player. Loads of new boxsets are now available to watch for free from the service, such as 'The Pembrokeshire Murders' starring Luke Evans, and the new reality series 'The Cabins'.
