The honest and darkly humorous drama series will be back on our screens once again.
Billie Piper will be returning as the actor-turned former child star for 'I Hate Suzie' season two.
The comedy/drama series premiered on Sky Atlantic in 2020, earning itself praise for its thought-provoking and completely unapologetic look at how the media can tear someone's life apart.
'Secret Diary of a Call Girl' actor Piper co-created the series alongside writer Lucy Prebble, and the two crafted a story that revolves around an actor who discovers that her phone has been hacked, and x-rated photos of her have been leaked online and to the press. Each of the eight episodes deals with Suzie tackling a different stage of grief as she attempts to get her life back together.
Piper and Prebble have already been busy working on a potential 'I Hate Suzie' season two, ahead of it finally getting confirmed.
While its great news to see this series return, there is one slight snag. Production won't begin filming until 2022.
We are so excited to continue the journey of Suzie Pickles. Filming starts in 2022. More news to come (our lips are sealed until then) @billiepiper @lucyprebblish @knighthallagent https://t.co/LWFrGKoiUG pic.twitter.com/OfiolblDMd

It's been a busy week for the drama series, which also picked up a Best Drama nomination at the Broadcast Press Guild Awards 2021. The series is up against 'Normal People', 'I May Destroy You', 'Small Axe', and 'All Creatures Great and Small'.
