It's a full year since we got to see exactly how Ted met that wife of his and since then, the How I Met Your Mother creators have been laying fairly low. There was a lot of talk of a spin-off to the show called How I Met Your Das but that failed to get picked up for a series.
It's good news now however for Craig Thomas and Carter Bays as they have just signed a three-year contract with Sony Pictures Television where they are assigned with writing a new series for the studio, while they will also be overseeing the work of other writers there according to Deadline.
The pair began their career as writers on Late Night with David Letterman but after a five-year stint on the show they left to kick start their own careers in what culminated in one of the most popular comedy series of the past decade.
So in summary, we're very much looking forward to seeing what they do next!
