TV3 held their autumn schedule launch today and it was announced the broadcaster would be bringing a weekend live show to their schedule in the same style as their weekday programme Ireland AM.
The shows, which will be called ‘Saturday AM’ and ‘Sunday AM', will be broadcast from 9am-12pm every weekend.
Anna Daly and Simon Delaney will present Saturday AM which, according to the press release, will be a "lively, energetic and interactive, bringing viewers a lively mix of lifestyle, human interest and celebrity features. The show will also feature a regular chef and live reports from events and festivals around Ireland."
While the Sunday AM show will also be presented by Anna Daly but with Newstalk's Ivan Yates as her co-host. This show will take a more current affairs vibe discussing the papers, news, sport and weather and events of the week gone by.
Shows returning to the TV3 schedule include The Restaurant, The Great Irish Bake Off, Broadchurch, Downton Abbey, X Factor, Britain's Got Talent, Big Brother, Red Rock while the channel will also be broadcasting the Rugby World Cup, UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup Final.
