The world couldn't stop with the James Franco jokes after that little Oscars incident, and now the actor's friends and industry professionals are getting ready to tear him to shreds on TV. Nice.

James took to his official Twitter account in the early hours of this morning to reveal that he's going to be the err, star/sacrificial lamb of the next Comedy Central Roast. If you've never heard of the show then all you need to know is that it's pretty brutal: Imagine plonking yourself in the middle of all your mates, and having them rip the absolute piss out of you, one by one.

Mr Franco made the big reveal in a err, enthusiastic Instagram video, which you can watch right here. Try not to get half as excited as he does while you're watching it now, ok? It might just be too much for you in this heat.
